World Cup kayaking medalist

We are delighted that World Cup kayaking medalist Jen Burke will be a brand ambassador for Genetic performance

Jenny has been American National Champion, and represented USA in numerous World Championships and World Cups. She is now focused on representing Ireland at Rio 2016

.

 

She decided to relocate to Ireland after being accepted to University College Dublin's Ad Astra Elite Athlete Program; which will allow her to obtain her Masters in Marketing while simultaneously training at an elite level. She recently competed in the Irish National Championships and secured both titles. After just 4 months training under the guidance of her new coaches and biomechanics in Ireland, she has improved upon all of her Personal Records in all race and testing distances on the water and in the gym.

Based on my results, I have adjusted my training program to focus more on
making strength gains in the gym and shifting from high endurance program
to one that is tailored to building a better lactate tolerance,
I have adjusted my race plan to ideally suit my genetic composition.
